Focus on What You Want

I just read today that they are going to upgrade the Hubble Telescope again.  Over this orbiting telescopes 19 year life it has undergone numerous upgrades - with each upgrade bringing countless millions more celestial objects into focus.

It is truly amazing the images generated by this orbiting box where we can now pear back to quite literally the beginning of time-least as we know it.

 

As this year zips along where we are near the summer months, I find, along with many of my associates, that it is often a useful exercise to re-group and focus on what is important.  Just like the Hubble we need to re-focus and energize ourselves on what is important.

When it boils down to it was is really important?  The short list I use is:
1-Family
2-Spiritual
3-Work, Employment or Business
4-Online Business
5-Hobbies
6-Social Relationships
7-Physiological

Many of these areas our directly related to another - such as your physiological health -the better you feel - the better shape you are in - the more you can accomplish in say, your business activities.

When I look back over the years I wish I had given more time to my family - say when my children were younger.  I say that not to cry over spilt milk - but to give heed to you who might have young ones at home.  They will be gone before you know it…..

Just keep in mind one thing - Everything you do will either bring you closer to your goals or further from goals - the choice is yours.

Big New Project

I have begun work on a very large project along with a long time friend and associate.  The main focus of this project is to create software and services that help non-profits and schools with fund-raising.  Since I work with a couple non-profits, I have a very keen interest in improving the ability to raise funds.

 

In order to properly fund this big new project, I am liquidating several of my domains and websites.  Since I do manage several hundred domains - while selling several of these off will reduce my monthly income - they will provide me immediate cash that I need for the Big project.

 

To liquidate these quick - I am selling them for around ten cents on the dollar.  Every one of these domains and websites was heavily researched before they were even purchased and the websites built.  They are all aged domains with traffic and are keyword based domain names. 

 

The one thing about a keyword based domain name - is it’s value will only increase over time - regardless of the website involved with it.  Some of these sites have been recently rebuilt, others are due for a rebuild but still earn money as they are - but they are capable of a lot more if they were to be updated and promoted.

 

So I look at this as a win-win-win deal - you get a valuable domain for 10 cents on the dollar and I get the cash I need to get this Big Project off the ground -and the non profits and schools will have an amazing tool to help them raise money for their causes.
