From Darkness to Success

I remember being at a conference in Baltimore - several of us decided to go out to eat some seafood.  We traveled in several cars - had a great dinner and talked at great length.

I was visiting with a new guy on the scene whose name is Alex Jeffreys - Well the cars all headed without us so we called a cab, no biggie…we thought….. We waited …..and waited…. then the kitchen staff closed the place down - we convinced one of them to at least give us a ride to a 24 hr gas station about a mile away.  I remember looking around and how dark it was.

Well that gas station happened to be just outside the county line - we called for a cab again…..and again…. and finally after about 2 hours after the restaurant had closed and spending an hour at the gas station -  a cab finally showed that whisked us back to the hotel.

But within that two-very-dark-outside-in-a-strange-big-city-hours,

Alex and I developed a very close bond.  From that day forward we have been in constant contact, and I have seen Alex go from a nearly broke bloak - to one of the most respected names in the industry.  His success is the result of his passion for helping others become successful.
