The One Thing

Still chokin’ in the
smoke with fires 8 miles north and 8 miles south, but luckily so far so
good.  Getting cooler in the evenings so maybe the fall rains will come
sooner then later and put an end to the fire season.

I Have Been Where
You Are Today
I have been online since 1999, initially starting by providing hosting services,
but have tried about everything that has come down the pike in the last 8
years.  The first five years I might be able to say I broke even with my
online business forays.  I have learned many things the hard way - by
experience and money.  But it wasn’t until about three years ago that I
rose from by break even online business to a full time business that provides me
the income and lifestyle that I love.

When I look back and
determine what changed - what specific actions did I do that made major
differences in my online success - I can point to One Main Thing.  That
would be personal relationships.  When I began to develop personal
relationships they evolved into business partnerships, and they have evolved
into dear friendships.  So the One Thing is not about traffic, software,
websites, systems, or any of the hundreds of "secrets" that are thrown
at us in a almost unrelenting fashion.  The One Thing is  all about
developing one on one relationships.

While discussions on
forums are a good start to defining who you are and what you are about. 
There is nothing that beats one on one meetings with others that share the same
passion as you.  When you meet people face to face there is a chemistry
that created - some people will not have much affect - while others - the
chemistry is there and a bond begins to develop that builds into so much
more.  This bonding only truly occurs with these eye to eye meetings, and
by far the best way to accomplish that is to attend internet marketing
seminars.  There are quite literally dozens of the very top marketers in
our business that could call on the phone and get help or offer my help to - and
everyone of these would be a result of me spending time with them at Internet
Marketing Events.

There are two types
of individuals who "try" to earn mo-ney online.  The first type
of individual treats their online business as a hobby - and they hope that
someday they will earn a profit.  The second type of individual is one who
treats their online business as a business.  They test and they watch their
Return on Investment -their ROI and they continuously look at ways to promote
their business and follow through with action.  One of the most successful
ways a person can grow their online business is to attend events with like
minded individuals and develop relationships which then blossom into
partnerships.  The synergy of working with others will allow you to achieve
far more than you can or will ever be able to do on your own.
